 Great Upgrade Nov 13, 2009
Perfect upgrade for my 2004 F150 Lariat wich comes with an original keyless fuel cap. Fits without problem and is well made.

This cap works as advertised. Would recommend this product to all who need a locking gas cap for a FORD. Easy to install, only need a screw driver. Remove ring on old cap and new cap, install new cap and snap ring back on. It is just that simple.

I was very glad to get this locking cap at the price (much cheaper than local stores). It is a little difficult to operate; you have to remember to hold the key in position while turning the cap handle, or else it doesn't come unlocked. Since I have several keys and tags on my key fob, along with the vehicle door unlocking device, there is limited space in the gas door area to do this. In order to protect the expensive gasoline in the tank, however, it is worth the trouble.

VERY CHEAP. LOCKING MECHANISM FELL OUT THE FIRST TIME I USED THIS CAP. PASS ON THIS ONE. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. WASTE OF MONEY.
Bad cap Oct 16, 2008
Product was received and installed on my truck. When I needed to refill the tank I was surprised to find out that the key wasn't turning the mechanism to remove the cap. It was defective and I had to break the cap cover to remove it from the tank. Really poor quality
