had to purchase this item due a gas theft in the area and thanks to the seller it arrived quick and was priced well compared to local dealers!

Only trouble is "NO" thread cord links protection. The Cap is for this product great. I am satisfied with my purchase of this product and it does meet purpose of design by protecting Fuel theft.

I wish they had identified the top or bottom of the key slot or they could have used a double sided key, since the key isn't guided into the lock very well it's always a bit of a pain to figure out which end is up.
Another thing that would help, would be some kind of retainer, even if it didn't exactly match the original, at least some kind of lanyard attachment so I didn't have to worry about losing my new gas cap.
At least the fit and function are close to the original cap, just slightly loose.

Dandy Item, smooth key operatyion, plus I as able to hook it up to 90,000 volts of electricty for added protection.

VERY CHEAP LOCKING GAS CAP. PLASTIC. LOCKING MECHANISM PULLED OUT THE FIRST TIME I USED IT. PASS ON THIS LOCKING GAS CAP. I WOULD NOT BUY LOCKING GAS CAP FROM STANT AGAIN. CHAP CHEAP CHEAP. WASTE OF MONEY.
