 Great factory replacements Mar 20, 2010
I purchased these shocks for my 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SLE with the rear air suspension. After much looking, these are the shocks that I ended up landing up with. They make a great stock replacement. Very easy to install, took me 30-40 minutes, and the package included everything you need. The only noticeable aspect is that the rear ride height is much lower than the factory shocks. There is about a 1.5" lower height difference in the rear, but it does give the car a nice look! I would highly recommend these shocks.
These Shocks are Just Right for my Bonneville Feb 27, 2010
The shocks were easy to install & took about 2 hours on my wifes bonneville. I put them on in my garage so dont take my time as the norm! LOL. They installed easily & were slightly larger diameter than the original ones which adds a little more rigidity to the ride but not much. A great price on Amazon given that other websites want about twice as much for basically the same shocks! Try these & you cant go wrong!

I was thinking that with such a low price, I would have to get an adaptor to use this shock on my 2001 Park Avenue, but did not. The hook right up to the existing air line. I bought mine used (I think it was a return with only superficial scratches on it) and for only $46, it was a STEAL!!!! They are BLACK, not white. I like the black better anyways!
If you are looking at replacing your bad air shocks and thinking of going to the local parts place...DONT! Get them here, you will be glad you did (you can use the $$ you save for the important things, like gas, beer, etc.:-)

The item described that it came with replacement fittings, airlines, etc. This is misleading because the the lines do not come with all Monroe air shocks depending on model...I verified this with Monroe. In the case of 2004 Buick LeSabre, the replacement lines were not included. The fitting were included and were already attached to the shocks. If your lines are in good shape and you have a good o-ring at the end of the line (both not supplied by Monroe or Amazon) you should be able to install the air shocks in about one hour. The shocks performed as described.
