Valley Receiver Easy to Install and Looks Good Mar 03, 2010
The three piece hitch was easy to install. I found it easier to remove the bumper. Just bolt the two side brackets on and then the receiver bracket last. The only part where I could have used help was getting the receiver bracket in place between the side brackets. You need to spread the side brackets slightly to get the receiver bracket in. The good part is once you get the receiver bracket between the side brackets, the pressure will hold it in place while you install the bolts.
This hitch looks good on my Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, with only the 2" receiver showing below my bumper. You don't see any of the brackets, they are all tucked up out of sight. This was a great choice for me.

Great hitch, easy to install Sep 18, 2009
Of all the hitch options for this range of Toyota trucks, I chose the Valley for its ease of installation (the two side brackets install first, then the main hitch bolts to its side brackets, meaning you don't have to balance a huge hitch on your chest while you vainly attempt to slide it into place and get a bolt through), and good looks. The Valley's tube body tucks up very cleanly behind the bumper. I was replacing an existing hitch that was just a low-slung square tube, and in comparison, the Valley is almost invisible, tucked very close to the bumper, leaving plenty of room for the exhaust and the spare tire. Ground clearance is as good as any hitch could be, and better than most.

Great Price. I asked Autoanything.com to match this price (as per their policy), they didn't even respond. You can't beat Amazon.com.
The directions were a little off though, I ended up taking the entire bumper off to get it on. All fits perfectly, as advertised.

I chose this hitch because of its price, but it worked out really well. It looks really good when installed, just the receiver is visible below the bumper. I picked up a Toyota hitch cover and it looks like it came from the factory.
