 Exact fit Nov 09, 2009
This is the perfect aftermarket hitch for my 2009 Tacoma. I did some research and this one is the only one that uses the bumper knockouts for additional mounting bolts. Very secure hitch and only the reciever can be seen after installation unlike some other models. One note: this does not include a receiver cover. You can get one at any wal-mart or auto parts store for about 5 bucks. The shipping package was fine although there was an earlier review that indicated a problem. Mine arrived unscathed and was well packaged in a box with all mounting hardware well secured to the hitch. You will not be disappointed!
EASY INSTALLATION Oct 10, 2009
From the time I got the package to complete installtion was less than 20 minutes. I am very impressed by the design using attach points that pickup up both the existing frame and the Toyota stock bumper reinforcement. The only glitch is the bolts going through the Toyota bumper are a tad too long and can interfere with the receiver hitch pin. Shortening the protruding ends of the bolts after torquing is an easy fix.
The reason I bought the hitch was the review picture posted which showed the attachments to the bumper, which don't show in the "stock" photo.

As always with amazon nice quick shipping as I am a prime member. So I first should tell you that the photo looks nothing like what I got! The tubes are round and angled down to the square ball mount section of the Receiver. One warning!!! I got the Receiver with the parts taped into the ball mount area, not a big deal if it was boxed but it was shipped with only a piece of cardboard around each of the tubes with the shipping/packing slip tag on it! Luckly nothing fell out. See the photo's by users on this, I'm going to post one on how I got it. So the paint is chipped on many places due to shipping, NOT UPS fault Amazon should have protected it better like they really should have boxed the reciver and not sent it totaly exposed. Good thing I was planning to put on a protective coating on it to extend its life. Still I should not have had too fix the paint in the first place!!! Over all I am still happy.

I have installed after market hitches on my previous trucks. So I was expecting to struggle with this hitch to have it align under my 09 Tacoma. I am still amaze at how easy the installation was; everything fits like a glove, and the installed hitch looks like a factory installed unit. This is one of the best purchase experiences; highly recommended

Get ready to get disappointed when purchasing this product because it does not include ball mount, pin and clip, and receiver cover as described. I contacted customer service and they shipped the item again and guess what, the ball mount, pin and clip, and receiver were missing again. I contacted customer service again and this time they told me to return the item for full refund because they have no idea why those items were missing. I have no idea why would they list the items on the pruduct description when the item does not come with addional parts.
Very very disappointing.
